My clients family of four have been traumatised by the severe storm damage impacting Mirboo North. Their home was destroyed by the storm, mother and 7 year old twins were in the house when the roof was ripped apart. one child is exhibiting severe trauma effects and requires specialised Mental Healthcare. I am requesting vouchers for basic essentials to ease the financial pressure of disaster recovery in the short term, while they focus on their immediate mental health needs and navigate the recovery/rebuild process. It is the little things that count so fuel, food and Kmart vouchers are in desperate need to assist in the extended travel, putting food on the table and replacing bedding, linen, clothing, school books, toys and other personal items that were lost to the storm and water damage.
